Extra Juicy by Pragmatic Play at Rubyslots Casino: mechanics, wins and free spins explained
Pragmatic Play's Extra Juicy is a high-volatility 5x3 fruit slot with 10 paylines and progressive multiplier free spins that can reach up to 60 rounds. It holds a 96.52% RTP.
Extra Juicy: five reels, progressive multipliers, big swings
Ten paylines, classic symbols. Extra Juicy is a classic fruit slot from Pragmatic Play released in 2019, built on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 10 fixed paylines. Symbols pay left to right across those lines starting from any reel, and only the highest win on each line counts. Golden bells, watermelons, blueberries, plums, oranges and lemons form the paytable. The game combines straightforward base-game play with a bonus round where a multiplier climbs with every free spin, turning wins into much larger payouts. High volatility means wins arrive less often but can be substantially bigger.
Play it for the bigger hits. This slot suits players chasing bigger single wins rather than frequent small ones, because the high volatility delivers less often but harder. You can spin from NZ$0.10 up to NZ$100, so players on any stake size have a place here. The base game runs straightforwardly, but the free spins bonus is where the multiplier mechanic kicks in. If you prefer steady smaller wins or get frustrated waiting for payouts, a lower-volatility game may fit you better than this one.
Progressive Multiplier Free Spins explained. Three scatter symbols landing on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger 12 free spins with a multiplier starting at 1x. After every spin in the bonus, the multiplier rises by 1x and applies to all wins except scatter pays. During the round, the reels run special strips. Three more scatters retrigger 12 additional spins, up to four times, for a maximum of 60 free spins total. This multiplier is what separates Extra Juicy from simpler slots and shapes how a round unfolds.

Know this before you play
When does the bonus arrive. The bonus round arrives without warning. No pattern tells you when three scatters will land on reels 1, 3 and 5. One session might never see the multiplier start, another might retrigger it four times.
Extra Juicy does not guarantee. One session is not the RTP. Your result could be a big win or a run of small ones or nothing at all, whatever the 96.52% rate says. The RTP plays out across time, not in any single round.
Don't expect the maximum. The NZ$6,000,000 ceiling is a rare event. Reaching it, or even half that, sits far outside what most players see. The maximum win is mathematically possible, not practically expected.

Extra Juicy is not a reason to keep spinning
What's your spending limit? Decide what you can afford to lose before you play Extra Juicy. Your budget should be money you don't need for anything else, and you should stick to it no matter what happens.
When to walk away from a win. Choose a point to stop playing, even when you're winning. Once you reach that point—whether you've won or lost—close the game and step away for the day.
Limits that work for you. Use your account's deposit limits and loss limits to enforce your choices. These tools help you stick to your budget when the multiplier is climbing.
Fun or habit—which is it? If Extra Juicy stops being fun, or if you're playing more often than feels right, take a break or self-exclude. Playing should feel like a choice, not a need.
